That process is summed up by Sid Field in his book, Screenplay,
"No conflict, no drama;
no drama, no character development;
no character development, no story..."
In Romans, Paul sums up the great challenge of growing closer to God, like this...
"...trails produces perseverance;
perseverance, character;
and character, hope.
Of course, it's exactly the same concept. So ultimately, all people are drawn to story (watch TV, Youtube, go to the movies, etc.) for the same reason... to better themselves (hope).
So, film, video, and photography should be used to tell a story, preferably with an altruistic purpose (inspiring people, problem solving, revealing truth). If this makes sense, give us a call! We are already on the same page.
